The Umageddon

All instruments are real and recorded live aside from the drums, which are synth. I played guitar, bass, keyboards and sang on all tracks and programmed all drums/percussion. Duncan Padgett of BUZZ fame provided additional guitar and vocals on 1 thru 6 and 9, he also played bass on 6. Recorded in Logic Pro X between August 2019 and March 2020. Mixed by Lauchlan Sheehan during April - June 2020. Additional production on 12 & 13 by Lauchlan Sheehan. Mastered by that’s um... in June 2020. Artwork by that’s um... with demented sketching by Duncan Padgett. 6 was originally an UMNESS song penned in 1996 and the first thing I ever played when picking up a guitar. I met “J-Bay Eric” while surfing at Culburra Beach, the following day we had a jam. We recorded 13 during the jam. Eric played lead guitar, I did rhythm, bass and vocals. 8 was originally performed by Pink Floyd, 12 by 4 Non Blondes. Both of these were requests that I cover. I don’t consider myself a musician.
