EP ASPHODEL MEADOWS by Varia

Asphodel Meadows is the debut album from Varia, a producer duo from Slovenia. This hypnotic descent into the depths of the underworld merges dark psychedelic rhythms with shadowy, dreamlike soundscapes. Named after the Asphodel Meadows—an eerie realm in Greek mythology where the souls of the dead wander in eternal twilight—the meadows are depicted as a place of neutrality, neither blissful nor torturous. This album beckons you into the obscure, where the line between sanity and madness dissolves, and the state of trance becomes a doorway to the unknown. With its twisted sonic experimentations and immersive atmospheres, Asphodel Meadows pulls listeners into a surreal experience, where the eerie beauty of the meadows unravels within the shadows of the mind. This sonic journey is an introspective exploration of the boundaries of consciousness, perfect for those seeking an immersive escape into the sinister and otherworldly.
