Ikiru

Pianist, composer, and producer Tuisku presents his debut album, "Ikiru”, blending elements of classical music, nu jazz, soul, hip-hop, and lo-fi sounds. This impressive album was inspired by Japanese philosophy and literature, a passion that Tuisku has nurtured over the past five years. "Ikiru" takes its inspiration from the Japanese poet Miyazawa Kenji’s 雨ニモマケズ. The poem opened the doors for Tuisku to delve deeper into Japanese philosophy, literature, art, and cinema, inspiring and helping him to create a stunning musical landscape exploring themes of time, love, and creativity. "Ikiru" is a beautifully crafted masterpiece, featuring contributions from a diverse range of talented artists: Colin Ong lends his expertise as co-producer and mixing engineer, while Matt McWaters (Sea of Voices), Khayden (Regatta, Daydream), Mr Tav (Daydream), Your Cousin Avi (More Love), swoo and Siddartha (At Night) make significant contributions to the album.
