Teotihuacan Painted Voices

The Rise and Fall of Teotihuacan is a six-song historical concept album that follows the life of one of the greatest cities in the ancient Americas. Told through the eyes of six different characters, the album journeys from the arrival of the first settlers, through the construction of the pyramids and the city's golden age, into its mysterious decline, tragic abandonment, and eventual rediscovery by the Aztecs centuries later. Blending history, storytelling, and imagination, each track gives voice to ordinary people who lived through extraordinary times, preserving their hopes, fears, dreams, and memories across nearly fifteen hundred years of history.
