Kantian Blue

“Science is organized knowledge. Wisdom is organized life.” Immanuel Kant Kantian Blue is an expansive 17-track journey through the smoke-filled logic and rhythmic shadows of Neo-Cabaret Swing Noir. This ambitious album masterfully reimagines the rigid Enlightenment world of Immanuel Kant as a dark, late-night theatrical revue, where the percussive snap of a walking-bass acoustic guitar meets the mournful, sharp intelligence of a melodic clarinet and Violin. Throughout the record, the music balances the "crooked timber" of human nature against the unyielding, crystalline beauty of the moral law within.
