Saturnine

Saturnine is the 11th album by eclectic electronic artist Kasson Crooker, aka Symbion Project, featuring 6 songs co-written and sung by Mars Nord, the artist moniker of Markus Junnikkala. Saturnine is an exercise in bittersweet moments captured in processed piano, crisp downtempo drums, and lush string arrangements. Markus’s stellar vocal performances range from a deep resonating bass, to a dynamic tenor, to a delicate and nuanced falsetto which gives the songs a stratospheric range. The lyrical ideas resonate with self-growth and introspection, developing ones creative voice and artistry, all expressed with poetry and rawness. Saturnine was also released as an interactive VR-music experience for Oculus/Meta Quest2. The Saturnine VR-Music app lets you remix the 9 songs from the album in abstract, geometric environments where the sound encompasses you in 360 degrees. https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/5075664742454466
