collide

this ep started as just the single “make love.” that was gonna be it, but i had so much fun making that track with a new technique i was messing with that i had to try another. the next was “i see you,” then “all my love,” and so forth. some didn’t make it to this ep, but i’ll probably release more of those in the future. my sample selections are from a lot of ‘70s and ‘80s music that i’ve really enjoyed listening to over the years. some you may recognize, others not as well known that i wanted to bring back into today’s music in a fun way. future funk, house, and dance music always put me in a good mood, and i wanted to share that positive energy with my listeners. i created the artwork collage-style, finding random photos and piecing them together in unique ways. i tried several different attempts, but this one stuck out to me most and helped set the tone of the ep. i really enjoyed putting this one together and hope you all enjoy the end results. much love!
