1000 Layers Of Umness

Only 50 physical copies of this disc exist. If I’ve sent you one it’s because I believe you will have a good, hearty laugh at my expense. I do not take recording that’s um material too seriously and a very open mind is needed when listening to these recordings. Here at camp um, enthusiasm is a very distant second cousin to ability. Since 2002 there have been 3 other that’s um... recordings, if you are feeling demented enough you can obtain them on the interwebs My favourite band is Ween. Mike Brown played bass and lead guitar on 04, made whale sounds and extra vocals on 08, played guitar and provided extra vocals on 19. Leigh Brown played bass and also extra vocals on 19. Mike plays in TRACER. 15 was originally written by UMNESS. 19 was originally written by P. Truck of THE CORRIDOR OF UNCERTAINTY fame. Everything else was written, performed and recorded by myself. Photography by Haley Renee. August 2012.
