Each track merges multiple styles of dance music, leaving surprises at every drop. From start to finish, Proxima Nova delivers Ookay’s forward-thinking production in a way that speaks to fans across the electronic spectrum. Ookay shares: "Proxima translates to “next” while Nova translates to “new”; a star showing a sudden large increase in brightness. I wanted this music to show what's next and give brightness to my sound. It also pays homage to a font that has been used throughout the years and has established itself while still being reinvented which is a reflection of my career. Bringing a rebirth of everything that has established Ookay up till this point."
