...Now You Aren't

…NOW YOU AREN’T is Talecraft General’s sophomore album—a dark journey through mortality, reputation, faith, history, and the strange afterlife of memory. More than anything, the album is obsessed with the ghosts of what once was. Disappearance is not the same thing as erasure. Something remains. When the thing itself is gone, what kind of legend does it leave behind? Musically, …NOW YOU AREN’T moves through metal, hard rock, Gothic atmosphere, American folklore, tavern-song energy, historical storytelling, and hymnody. What unifies it is not genre. It is remembrance.
