The Elvis Special

The Elvis Special was intended to have been released with entirely alternate lyrics and instrumentation back in 2016. However, after the fallout and ostracization by peers, bands, and girlfriend. A rewrite of the songs was pursued. Created with specific attention to music that once captivated lead singer and writer Marty, the song "Rashomon" is a study/love letter to the band Air and other late 90's chill listening, while "Chelsea" represents their attempt at a country ballad while retaining the bands traditionally charged raw conviction.
