The two have released Chillhop songs together in the past, like "Sandy Shores" (Essentials Spring 2022) and "Blur" (Essentials Winter 2019). On new single "Friends", they provide a laid-back lofi instrumental. Cinematic and soothing, it feels stuck in slow motion. Distorted yet crisp. Atmospheric yet grounded. There's no other way to describe it. Is it best for a late night or an early morning? Press play, decide for yourself, and look out for Arbour's five song EP, Polarized, out at the end of this month, on September 24.
