Since 2024, Sweeps and luv pug have released eight projects with Chillhop Music. Now they're putting out their first full album, Oregon Coast, a set of tracks to carry you somewhere else for a bit. The album pulls from years driving through the Pacific Northwest. The fog, the trees, the stretches of road that give you space to think. It invites listeners into a calm space where instrumental music becomes a gateway to another place and pace. It's not always sunny (sometimes it's rainy and gloomy) and that's the point. Track names reference real Oregon places, but the instrumentals leave room for interpretation. What evokes foggy beaches for one may spark different memories for another. This is music for getting out of your head while you work, drive, or lounge around. "Elk Creek" glistens in the background. "PCH" lifts the tempo, hinting at motion. "Multnomah Falls" leans melancholic, while "Astoria" bends into stranger territory. Oregon Coast feels comforting, an album meant to live in your headphones, car, or home.
