Dr Olive & the Hoperators — Heuristic Olgarhythms '22 Single Mx

Taken from our future album MAYBELAND (2022), this freshly reworked single version was a bit extended, (original album version was 3'03"). Lyrics/voices: Olga. - Guitars: Sly Van Der Kruk. - Synthesizers, effects, production & mix: Dr Olive. Olga Zykova wrote this russian poem and recorded it for us in St-Petersburg in 2016 as the album was still in progress (which ran until 2020). She now lives halfway between SPB and the Estonian border). She recently wrote: “ Both our nations are closely connected by a common history, all Russian families have relatives in Ukraine! A big part of my family lives in Kiev, Odessa, Vinnytsia, Zhitomir”... The Hoperators also includes Nastja Agafonova (tenor and barytone saxophones) who came from Moscow to settle in Belgium in sept. 2020. Like Olga, she doesn't know when she'll be able to meet her parents or relatives again. Peace, Dr Olive.
