The dance floors in 2023 are deeper than they have been for a while, and we love it! We've seen it at our London party, Superfeel, where records that we would have heard in warm-ups in recent years have been getting peak-time reactions. This fresh landscape has allowed Kevin McKay to reconnect with the deeper house sound he first made his name with back in the 90s. As well as the well-known samples and covers, he has also been writing original material, notably with Notelle. "Soul Trouble" is his first original solo record in a while. It is a classic slow-burning groove that should appeal to his new fans and those older heads asking for a return to his "Muzique Tropique" sound. Dive in!
