I wanted to create a song that appeases everyone while stepping away from dark, wild-edge songs already on the album. As I reviewed the Club Gumbo album's progress, I noticed that more men were streaming my music, so I aimed to balance things out. To maintain the diverse 'Gumbo' of different sounds, I brought back the classic feel of old-school house, blending it with soulful female vocals for a modern twist. I also added a subtle touch of that iconic percolator sound in the background, giving the track a nostalgic vibe with a fresh energy.
