Pala Chrome - You (alex martian remix)

Do you remember Pala Chrome's debut EP 'You Stay High'? Well, over the next weeks, we’re going to release a monster remix pack with 14 brand-new versions of 'You', 'Stay' and 'So High'. We kick things off with: You (alex martian remix) "I first found out about the remix contest through an Audius post on Instagram. I really like working with vocals so I downloaded the stems to see what quick ideas I could come up with. After a few minutes, I eventually made a vocal chop pattern, (the one heard in the intro), that I really liked on MIDI with the sampler instrument. I also did the same with the lead melody stem and put a light amount of distortion on it for the drop. After that, I felt that I had now set the tone for the rest of the song after coming up with both that vocal chop and distorted lead pattern. Everything else came together pretty smoothly after that." - alex martian Follow alex https://twitter.com/_alexmartian_ https://www.instagram.com/alex.martian
