Permission obtained from Ophelia Records to produce and distribute this remix as a free download. Honestly, it feels surreal that this remix even happened. For the last eight years, Pathless Is The Way has been a favorite of mine since Ophelia Vol. I released. In those eight years, I've poured numerous hours in search of the mythos and lore in the world of Seven Lions Mythos surrounding Ceres. In that time I've spent pouring over the mythos, I've floated the idea of making a lore video. I wanted to originally make a slower version of Pathless Is The Way (among a few other songs) that I could use in the background of a video if I ever made it. After it got a bit more... energetic, I reached out to the Ophelia team to get permission to keep working on it and release it as a free download. Words cannot express how thrilled I was and still am that I was given permission to both finish my remix and release it as a free download. I know it's not 100% true to the original sound design in several parts, and that is largely due to a combination of my inexperience and desire to do this all from scratch (no resampling of the original was used for this remix). Its not a perfect remix, but all I can hope at the end of the day is that you--the listener--enjoy the finished product. More than anything else, thank you to the Ophelia Records team once again for allowing me to do this. Words truly cannot express how honored I am to be able to say I was able to make a remix of one of my favorite songs of all time. A massive thanks to Grabbitz, modus, and all of the other wonderful peers and producers who have heard this song in private and helped give me the critical feedback I needed to make this the best song I possibly could.
