My take on Eternal Sunshine by Slow Magic. I was listening to the song and didn't have a clear idea in mind. As I was placing the stems down and arranging the patterns I decided that the song was lacking the oomph and couldn't find a way to fit a bass into the mix. I don't make future bass, and this is the first time I've properly made something I can confidently call future bass-inspired. I think the general interpretation of this song is hyperpop due to the vocals being pitched up. I tracked my own vocals and added about 4-5 layers to make the choruses and verses feel fuller and warmer. I was showing the remix to a friend who remarked that the section in the middle lacked the fullness that the first future bass drop had so I aimed to emulate that. I did not want to just copy paste that section because I knew it would be painfully obvious. So I copied it then swapped the push/pull bars and rearranged it. Came out nice with that added section.
