whats good fam!! we're back 💖💖 after releasing our last album "illustrations" 3 years ago in 2021, we experienced burnout and took a hiatus from music. since then we've gone through a lot (like everyone) and come a long way. last year we began playing shows post-covid again, and started working on music again. we took time to explore our intentions as artists and decided to lean fully into our house and bass music evolution. this track, however, is a lil different story. "Cloud 9" started as a song josh wrote in january 2020 and never released. we forgot about then rediscovered it recently, and decided to rework it in the spirit of our original, more experimental style. the circumstances around its creation and release now are very personal and pretty wild, so we felt it only right to make it our 2024 comeback song on the platform / community thats always shown us hella love! hope u enjoy, we love yall so much frfr :) - josh & corinita
