RITUAL-84 — FROST Album: Polar Circle, 86 One of the few recordings in the cycle accompanied by fragments of written material. The title “Frost” appears on the reverse side of a magnetic reel together with a note referring to a winter ritual performed during the onset of the polar night. Surviving documents repeatedly mention a ceremony associated with the season's first prolonged cold spell. Researchers believe this composition may have served as the opening piece of the entire “Polar Circle, 86” cycle. Disclaimer: A work of fiction.
