"Hate us” offers perspectives from a guy and a girl that are involved in a toxic relationship. Both ends are told from Reikko and Suisei to represent the couple, respectively. The girl wants to leave the relationship but still holds on to the glimmer of hope she has, so does the guy. But, this tortures both of them. Throughout the song, they both talk about what the other person does to make them feel cornered. She wishes that he could see her as a person with self-worth and to stop trying to fight her. He wishes her to just listen to what he has to say, to see the other side of the coin. At the end, they realize that no matter how much they used to love each other, that the feeling is no longer there.
