Viral has a double meaning in this song. In one sense, it means going viral on the internet and social media, achieving fame. On the other hand, viral also stems from virus, in which one can get literally sick. In my song, I mention how someone can become so obsessed with going viral on the internet that it becomes unhealthy to a point of becoming sick. The measures someone has to go to get famous sometimes has dark, unhealthy consequences. The desire to go viral becomes a virus in itself.
