DISCONNECT

Made this during a period where everything started feeling distant. lyrics: [Verse 1] Hood up Phone facedown on the table Let it buzz Like it’s calling someone else Group chat Rolling on without my name there I scroll But I feel nothing else [Build] Pull the plug Cut the thread I’m drifting out Static in my head Everybody talking in a room I left on read Let ’em spin Let ’em spin I’m better misconnected [Verse 2] Blue light Painting shadows on the ceiling All night I replay what I won’t say Missed calls Stack like dishes in the kitchen I’m tired Of pretending I’m okay [Build] Pull the plug Cut the thread I’m drifting out Static in my head Everybody talking in a room I left on read Let ’em spin Let ’em spin I’m better misconnected [Outro] If I disappear Would anyone notice? If I stay here Do I ever get out? Talking to the ceiling like it’s holy Whispering my worries just to drown them out Pull the plug Cut the thread I’m drifting out Static in my head Everybody talking in a room I left on read Let ’em spin Let ’em spin I’m better misconnected
