[ Song · Hip-Hop/Rap ]
X reminisces about his past wrongdoings, detailing a hypothetical conversation with Satan about the state of his soul. He utilizes strong biblical references and language throughout this mini-masterpiece. His use of enjambment is also of note. Crafted to embody his evanescent spirit and dazed psyche, X splits what might otherwise be one line into many—exhibiting his fragmented mental state. The song reflects X’s troubled upbringing, and how pain and sadness have plagued his brief time on this Earth, as shown in the first half. X learns that if he remains true to his selfish/evil side, that he can obtain what he really craves: power and wealth. While the song’s cover art is defaulted to be the same as ItWasntEnough’s, which is a picture taken in a concert X held in Miami, the song’s title also hints at the Floridan city in which X spent most of his life.
