Ciaccona - Chaconne. J. S. BACH. In Mandolin

In Germany, Johann Sebastian Bach would compose the famous Chaconne in D minor to end the Partita for solo violin no. 2. In this example, the chaconne is based on the succession of harmonic and melodic themes in the bass. This has been the most famous chaconne in history, its date dates from 1720, when the master was in Köthen. It is believed that he composed it after the death of his wife, María Bárbara Bach, which is why many consider it closer to a lament than to a chaconne.
