W2/6 Beside the sea in Canada. ISRC-CB-GWT-26-00040

Act 2 of 6: Wind and Rain Series. Lyrics You are like rain, whispering in clouds Softly falling without a sound I draw near but I don’t disturb The quiet beauty of your world Even when illness dims my day You still send poems on their way On every festive day you send A gentle gift from heart to friend You are the wind passing by my side Freedom moving with the tide Wind is the friend of rain tonight Across the distance hearts take flight Though we have never met face to face Your warmth still fills this quiet space Wind carries words I long to hear Rain answers softly far from here No promise spoken, none to explain Just truth between the wind and rain Beside the sea in Canada I wait for news of spring’s first air Blessings travel from afar Warmer than the winter there One small message that you sent Turned two strangers into friends Something shapeless came to life A feeling honest and intense Sunlight enters through your voice Even distance has no choice Wind is the friend of rain tonight Across the distance hearts take flight Though we have never met face to face Your warmth still fills this quiet space Wind carries words I long to hear Rain answers softly far from here No promise spoken, none to explain Just truth between the wind and rain I ride the wind into your sky Your poems paint the world nearby Between each line your spirit stays A quiet light through distant days You say the wind is always free Yet still it finds its way to me Wind is the friend of rain tonight Across the distance hearts unite No walls of time, no miles remain Where souls can meet like wind and rain Touch and thanks beyond what’s said Every word your heart has spread Across the sky our voices remain Forever friends — the wind and rain
