"On The Way" is a feel good, fun, and vibey record about enjoying the process. A perfect song to play during the summer or when driving with the windows down. I'd started this song in the end of Janruary of 2023 and then showed the rough demo to phendste a few days later, who immediately had ideas on where to take it. It was also phendste's first time in LA and the sunny, feel good, PCH driving vibes permeated the session. We we're both inspired by the idea of the future versions of ourselves looking back on "specific good times" or "memories" with nostalgia and a feeling of reminiscence...but from the lens of our (self aware) present day selves. It's a reminder to keep the perspective of enjoying the process and to have fun along the way. We got it mixed and mastered by the legend, Dee Kei, and it was released to streaming on March 18, 2024.
