Bristol brothers, Icarus continue to deliver with their new single ‘Forever’. A high energy, 4 to the floor club record, 'Forever' delves into the harder side of the duo’s sound, whilst still maintaining sprinklings of their signature, melodic style. A robotic style vocal features throughout with the melancholic yet compelling lyrics "I don’t wanna feel like this forever, I don’t wanna be like this forever". Icarus say: "We randomly stumbled across the vocal on our studio computer, which we'd recorded years ago and were immediately drawn to how powerful the lyrics were. Turning it into a more robotic sound instantly made it feel more clubby to us, so we knew which direction we wanted to take the track. We really enjoy pairing dark and moody lyrics with music that still has a sense of euphoria and energy about it.
