Broken Meridian

Some places only exist as lessons and memories of today. “Broken Meridian” was written somewhere between what was and what came after, when a line once thought permanent began to fracture. Whatever existed on either side of it became something different, and the distance between them took on a life of its own. Years have a way of changing the landscape. Somewhere beyond that broken line, we kept going. The ridge remains only as a mark on the map, a reminder of a place we once had to cross.
