"The Truth About Happiness" - was composed during the 2005 Indian summer in Montreal. A tribute to intimate music venues, with jazzy sounds, one of Roulian musical roots. A return to the basics. In a cozy acoustic room, a strings ensemble, a plucked double bass, brush sticks, brass, piano, acoustic guitar. A suspended cliché of a North American jazz club, upholstered in velvet, with a wood floor worn by time. It is also the story of a family heirloom. A present to Roulian's father. A personal dedication, as seen on the cover.
