Makoto returns to his own Human Elements imprint. This new track called ‘Watercolour’ is definitely heavily influenced by early 90’s hardcore/Jungle music, but with 2025 twist and Makoto’s signature colourful chord progressions. A true standard bearer for Drum & Bass for the best part of two decades, the mighty Makoto returns with his newest single “Watercolour”, releasing on Human Elements. The legendary producer unleashes a sumptuous summer bubbler on the cusp of festival season, bringing a rapture of smooth-grooving energy on a characteristically infectious anthem. Clean-cut percussion, funky bass rumblings and majestic piano melody combine seamlessly, as “Watercolour” paints itself as a picture perfect masterclass of euphoric Drum & Bass!
