Nohost creates genre bending electronic music, contrasting otherworldly sound design against minimal, melodic drops. Influences of IDM, house, garage, and future bass all contribute to his intricate, emotional sound. Nohost strives to achieve the ultimate balance between ‘natural and digital’ - combining beauty and emotion into a digital, glitchy electronic space. Nohost says: "The song came out of re-imagining an old track I wrote by exploring granular synthesis. Once I stumbled across the driving rhythm, I became attached to the feeling of yearning and constant motion, the ups and downs, that drove the rest of the track. The feeling of the ‘morning’ for me echoes that feeling of hope; the buzzing potential of a day that can also come with anxiety and unknowing - the ups and downs."
