1111, pronounced ‘eleven eleven’, is the brand new electronic alias from established vocalist, songwriter and producer, Lauren L’aimant. ‘Paloma’ is the first single taken from a club focussed EP coming later this summer, giving us a taste of the sounds we can expect from this exciting new project. Full of feel good, summery energy, ‘Paloma’ blends sparkling, jazzy pianos, garage style vocal chops and a lush, warm, bolshy bassline. We hear glimpses of Lauren’s DnB influences, with the introduction of a moody reese bass, which gives a gritty contrast to the rest of the record. Having garnered consistent love from UK tastemakers such as Jaguar, Danny Howard, Ben Malone and many more, whilst racking up over 27M streams on Spotify alone with both her original material and feature vocal collaborations, Lauren is ready to show a new dimension of her talent. Constantly growing as an Artist, Producer & DJ, Lauren launches ‘1111’ into the world.
