This is a song for all the people who fall in love too quickly, or anyone who's ignored a red flag for the sake of maintaining the imaginary castle we've built in our minds... I wrote it after I was making breakfast and, while thinking about the person I'd met at a festival the past weekend, cracked an egg into the compost bin and proceeded to put the egg shells into the frying pan. I wove the song together from different pieces for my "Melody a Day for the month of May" project.
