Flex (UK) & Ciara - So And So (Extended Mix)

After becoming one of the most buzzed-about names in UK minimal tech house last year with his electrifying flip of Nate Dogg’s “6 in the Morning,” Flex (UK) returns — this time with a legendary co-sign and a record that’s primed to shake the global dance scene. The rising DJ/producer, known for his hypnotic grooves and left-of-center flips, first captured the underground’s attention with a string of viral tracks that racked up millions of streams and earned DJ support from all corners of the scene. But his latest move might be his boldest yet. In collaboration with FUNKSHWAY — the LA-based label behind some of dance music’s hottest new DJs, including breakout talent AYYBO—Flex has flipped Ciara’s iconic “Get Up” into a bass-heavy, minimalist tech roller titled “So & So”. First teased on TikTok and SoundCloud, the track exploded across social media, amassing over 5 million views in just a few days and instantly igniting curiosity from both fans and industry insiders. The viral energy caught the attention of Ciara herself, who was so impressed by Flex’s take on her 2006 classic that she stepped into the studio and re-recorded her vocals — elevating the track with a fresh, empowered performance that bridges her early 2000s sound with today’s underground energy. The result is a powerful meeting of eras and cultures: Ciara’s timeless vocals riding Flex’s stripped-down, groove-forward production. A full-circle moment for club culture, radio, and social virality. “So & So” by Flex (UK) & Ciara is set for release on May 9th via FUNKSHWAY and doesn’t just remix a classic—it rewrites the rulebook for how dance music evolves across generations. As UK minimal tech surges globally, this track offers a bold blueprint for what’s next.
