This piece was originally intended to be a christmas song. As usual the compositional process got slightly out of hand and I am over a month too late. Anyway, you should be able to enjoy this 365 days a year, not only on christmas! The structure is (kind of) a Rondo form, a returning part ('couplet') alternating with changing parts (episodes). Can you guess all the christmas song references in the central episode? (there are six)
