Cantiña de Las Veredillas Original Prof Manuel Gago (R)

🎙️ “Cantiña de Las Veredillas” – Prof. Manuel Gago Emotive Artist Statement (English Version) I was born in Utrera, a sacred land where flamenco is not just music—it’s memory, blood, and identity. From the streets of Las Veredillas, this piece—Cantiña de Las Veredillas—emerges like a whisper from the past, echoing the voices of those who made me who I am. This work is a heartfelt homage to my family, especially to my grandmother Pilar Reina, a woman of deep silence and unshakable presence. Her love, her stories, her way of holding the world together with a gaze—all of that lives in this song. My mother Carmen, who cared for her neighbors with gentle hands—giving injections, selling bleach, and bringing beauty through Avon—is the quiet soul behind these verses. And my father Jesús, whose name alone brings me strength, anchors the rhythm with dignity and grace. The lyrics are composed in the timeless form of traditional cantiñas, short poetic bursts of life and feeling. They sing of love, daily struggle, and deep longing. The music is crafted for the Suno platform, with acoustic guitar, handclaps, cajón, and a female soloist supported by a powerful women’s chorus—an echo of the women who shaped my world. The visual component is an oil painting in classical style, framed like a memory you never let fade. It doesn’t just accompany the song—it is part of the song, carrying its fragrance, its color, and its soul. This piece is not just flamenco—it’s a living shrine to memory, love, and legacy. It is Utrera, it is home, and it is me. —Prof. Manuel Gago #flamenco, #utrera, #cantiñas, #familia, #andalucía, #raíz, #homenaje, #profmanuelgago, #tradición, #canteflamenco, #gitanería, #memoria, #raíces, #folklore, #españa, #ole, #cantejondo, #abuelapilar, #músicatradicional, #lejíayavon, #flamencosoul, #gitana, #sunomusic, #flamencopuro, #cantepopular, #veredillas, #arteespañol, #raícesflamencas, #musicahispana, #poesíaoral, #recuerdo, #musiquetraditionnelle, #chantflamenco, #flamencoroots, #heritage, #memories, #flamencovibes, #culturallegacy, #flamencochant, #traditionalspanishmusic, #homenajeafamilia, #flamencoemotion, #costumbrismoespañol, #gitanaflamenca, #vidagitana, #spainheritage, #artepopular, #flamencopainting, #culturaespaña
