Скитальцы Вереска - 4. Воля Короны (Песнь Олдэра)

Heather Wanderers — The Will of the Crown (Older’s Song) Album: Heather Wanderers: The Song of Neris (archival audio recording, 1983) Track No. 4 — “The Will of the Crown (Older’s Song)” This song is told from the perspective of King Older. He is not a cruel tyrant or a merciless ruler — he is a man burdened with the weight of the crown. For the future of Veremor, he makes a decision that destroys his own daughter’s fate. Alder understands the price of his choice, but believes that the kingdom must outlive any individual. In his world, duty stands above love, and responsibility proves stronger than compassion. “The Will of the Crown” is a story of power that demands sacrifice even from those who bear it.
