On August 14, I put myself to the test to see if I could (once again) create a song from scratch AND upload the song for distribution - ALL IN ONE DAY. 💯 When I say from scratch - I wrote the lyrics, made the beat, recorded the lyrics, mixed the song & (somewhat) mastered the song! I started in the afternoon and completed the mission around 12, 1am. 🙏🏾 I love pushing myself. I used to be an athlete so I thrive on pressure and being challenged & if no one is going to challenge me, I find ways to challenge myself. Some may say this isn’t a good idea, but hey, my song “Mimosas” is a top 7 song of mine on Spotify AND it’s performing considerably better than my song with Benny The Butcher! 🤷🏾♂️ If you’re an artist and you made it this far on this caption - STOP LIMITING YOURSELF. JUST DO. THERE’S NO RULES IN MUSIC. 🗣️ Much love y’all. 🙏🏾
