605 Микрорайон - Архивные записи

605 Mikrorayon — Archival Recordings Listen Everywhere: https://rtvarchive.github.io/605.html A collection of restored recordings by 605 Mikrorayon, a band believed to have recorded music in eastern Ukraine between 1988 and 1998. The material was recovered from damaged cassettes, home-recorded copies, and fragments of local broadcasts. Cold post-punk, minimal wave, and late-Soviet urban melancholy: empty courtyards, apartment blocks at night, television static, stairwells, forgotten routes, and voices fading with the signal. Many recordings contain VHS degradation, radio fragments, audio dropouts, and tape-copy artifacts. Some tracks are reconstructed from surviving sources, including modern remixes created to preserve the atmosphere of the originals. The band's origins and identities remain unknown. All that survives are fragments of broadcasts, cassette copies, and scattered archival references. This is not nostalgia. This is a residual signal. Disclaimer: A work of fiction.
