“Unknown Holocaust” is a heart-wrenching tribute to the forgotten millions who perished in the Iranian famine of 1917-1919. While the world remembers other atrocities, this genocide—caused by the British Empire’s ruthless control over Persian food supplies—remains largely unknown. With no bombs, no gas chambers, just the slow, agonizing death of starvation, this tragedy claimed more innocent lives than some of the most infamous genocides of history. This song stands as a voice for those silenced by hunger, and a reminder that imperial greed has claimed lives far beyond the battlefield.
