Kept taking longer than expect. Was late for an Xmas present. Client was concerned. At any time, I could use my artist license and say as an artist I call it complete. Something propelled me to keep trying to perfect them with one thing in mind. It will be longer to start over. So there I am, correcting and attempting to perfect a piece of art that was late in delivery. Here is one of the songs that kept me going. “The Last Stroke” captures the reflective calm after the final motion of creativity — the moment when an artist steps back, the colors settle, and the work breathes on its own.
