Like a Tree

Blessed is the one who stays on the way Who doesn’t let the wicked lead them astray Meditates on truth both night and day With roots so deep they’ll never sway Like a tree by the waterside Leaves unbroken where they reside In season they’ll bear fruit so strong The song of right will lead them along Dust is their path who choose the dark They scatter at winds without a mark No place to stand in the council's light Their fleeting ways fade into the night Like a tree by the waterside Leaves unbroken where they reside In season they’ll bear fruit so strong The song of right will lead them along The Lord knows where the righteous go The way of the wicked He does not follow Their road crumbles while His shines bright Guidance clear through eternal night Like a tree by the waterside Leaves unbroken where they reside In season they’ll bear fruit so strong The song of right will lead them along
